John Seery and Douglas Greenberg Honored at 42nd Council

The Phi Beta Kappa Society stands for freedom of inquiry and expression, disciplinary rigor, breadth of intellectual perspective, the cultivation of skills of deliberation and ethical reflection, the pursuit of wisdom, and the application of the fruits of scholarship and research in practical life.  Among the many ways that ΦBK fosters these values is by recognizing those who work to preserve and promote the liberal arts and sciences.
